Arthur Denis Rosaire, was a Canadian painter born in Montreal, Quebec. He pursued his early artistic education at the Art Association of Montreal, where he studied under the painter William Brymner. During his formative years, Rosaire developed a focus on landscape painting, drawing technical influence from French Impressionism and the Barbizon School.

Rosaire's studio practice centered on landscape and genre scenes in oil and watercolour, capturing rural and urban environments across Quebec and Ontario. His compositions frequently featured atmospheric depictions of Montreal streetscapes, the Saint Lawrence River, Mount Royal, and rural farmland, characterized by loose brushwork and an emphasis on natural light.

Throughout his career, Rosaire participated in major annual institutional exhibitions in Canada, including those organized by the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and the Art Association of Montreal. In 1915, his contributions to Canadian landscape painting were recognized with his election as an Associate member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (ARCA).

Rosaire spent his final years living and working in Montreal until his death in 1922 at the age of forty-three. His artwork is represented in permanent public collections, including the National Gallery of Canada and the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec.
