André Gisson (1921-2003) was an American Impressionist painter known for his vibrant landscapes and still lifes. After graduating from the Pratt Institute and serving in World War II, he travelled extensively in Europe and Asia to hone his artistic skills. Gisson's work captivated collectors like President Lyndon B. Johnson, and can be found in the Triton Museum of Art. He spent his later years in Westport, Connecticut.
