Arthur Horsfall (1914-1995) was a Winnipeg-born artist who studied at the Winnipeg School of Art under L.L. Fitzgerald and Joe Plaskett. He also participated in workshops with Kenneth Lochhead and Roy Kiyooka. Drawing from his background as a commercial illustrator, Horsfall specialized in depicting buildings and street scenes. He was a member of the 1970s Subway Group in Winnipeg, later known as the Subway Galleries. His work left a lasting impression on the Canadian art scene.
