Over the last 5 years, Randolph Parker has been exploring the Lake of the Woods and its 65,000 miles of shoreline. Inspired by the prospect of searching out the exact location that inspired iconic works of art by Canadian masters like Walter J. Phillips, Randolph and Bill Mayberry started on a journey that would take them from every corner of the lake and bring them in touch with the deep history of the area. The result of that journey is over 220 works of art that serve as intimate portraits of a few of the 14,000+ islands that make up this much-loved area of Canada.
