Carnival of Light – Wilf Perreault

On Display at 324 Dundas Street West, Toronto, Ontario

Mayberry Fine Art in association with Ohler’s Fine Art is pleased to present Carnival of Light, a solo exhibition of new works by renowned Saskatchewan artist Wilf Perreault.

This exhibition features the artist’s iconic alleyscapes as well as large sunrise and sunsets.  Perreault’s paintings often begin with an idea from a photo taken while driving and are then transformed into intimate views that have a light that appears to radiate from within.

“Carnival of Light is a Beatles song. It was an experimental song (avant-garde). It was recorded in about 14 minutes on January 5, 1967. There are no lyrics. I love this title and it describes my continued experimenting, play, and love of the process of creating a work of art.”

The exhibition runs until Nov 2nd. 324 Dundas Street West, Toronto, Ontario
