Breathtaking Views – Mount Royal Montreal

New series created by RFM McInnis

A stunning collection of new works from MFA gallery artist, RFM McInnis featuring exhilarating views from his new home in Montreal. Robert paints his perspective of the iconic Mount Royal depicting the changing seasons and adeptly capturing the beautiful nuances of light from early morning to twilight. Like Hiroshige’s 100 views of Mount Fuji, or Cézanne’s own views of the Montagne St. Victoire,  McInnis memorializes the volcanic mountain in a striking series of gestural sketches and studies.  Please enjoy this selection of works taken his Mount Royal series.
