Canadian, RCA (1968), OSA (1961), ARCA (1948) Adrian Dingle was born in Wales and came to Canada at the age of three. During the 1930s he worked as a commercial artist to supplement his career as a painter. He co-founded the publishing company Hillborough Studio in 1941. He was also a versatile cover artist. In the late 1940s Dingle focussed more on book and magazine illustration. Later in life he concentrated on a fine art career and became well-known as a painter of landscape.
